Imo LucasArts really hit their stride in the 90s and besides a few hits here and there, not too many of their games lived up to their glory days. Then there’s forgettable games like Jedi Starfighter which nobody really cares about, and then there’s the garbage games like Jedi Power Battles/Obi-Wan/The Phantom Menace, any plug and play consoles, and The Force Unleashed 1&2. I mean the The Old Republic games are okay, Battlefront 2003 and LEGO Star Wars TCS are undeniable classics, but then you have games like Battlefrand Racer Revenge, both of which are sequels that improve many things but lose the magic that made the originals great. The 2000s is when the games slowly started losing their sheen though. Shadows of the Empire is great too, some people have trouble with the platforming but honestly it’s still in the upper echelon of N64 platformers imo. The Super Star Wars games are absolutely stellar 16 bit staples, and the cartridges aren’t expensive at all. TIE Fighter is a nearly perfect flight sim on top of being a great Star Wars game. Definitely check out the first two Dark Forces games (I never played the third or fourth but I’ve heard they’re great too). Ooooh if we’re recommending games, I personally find Galactic Battlegrounds to be that special kind of addicting.
